The International Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Exhibition (iPHEX), India’s own international exhibition platform, will bring together the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry under one roof. According to the Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil), iPHEX-2020, which will be unfolding from May 6 to 8, 2020 at IEML, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, is expected to witness more than 750 delegates in addition to regulators from all over the world. iPHEX is one of the major initiatives of the Pharmexcil to showcase Indian pharma as the most affordable, sustainable and high quality compliant drugs in the world. iPHEX will focus on areas such as active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), formulations, bio-similars, Ayush, medical devices, nutraceuticals, natural extracts, diagnostic and surgicals, healthcare services such as CRO, clinical trials and research and development. The organisers have designed to make iPHEX-2020 a big success, where the leading players from pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare industry will discuss on various issues on pharma industry. Udaya Bhaskar, director general of Pharmexcil said, "IPHEX has been a successful journey because of overwhelming participation of all stakeholders and in particular our valued members. This is the only exhibition where all Indian Embassies and missions actively participate to provide valuable support by inviting regulatory officials recommending overseas buyers/manufacturers besides sharing the details of IPHEX extensively at various forums with which they interact regularly." IPHEX-2019 had over 750 overseas delegates from 120 countries besides about 35000 visitors from all across the country. Pharmexcil is the nodal agency to represent drugs, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in the global arena. With over 3000 members, Pharmexcil is mandated to help them achieve excellence in exports and facilitate overseas buyers to find suitable trade partners from the Indian pharma industry. Pharmexcil acts as a single contact point for the overseas buyers and investors by providing list of manufacturers / exporters of the pharma products of interest to them, provide assistance in co-ordinating appointments for the overseas buyers / investors during their visits to India through its offices at Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi.
